When I started thinking about potential topics I can expand on for my Senior Thesis, I felt stuck. In order to navigate my thoughts, I mapped out different personal experiences I could draw from, and ended up deciding on researching more about the idea of impermanence and the causes of feeling un-present. I used this topic as a starting point for my book-design approach.
The book consists of a lexicon, research posts from the past semester, past projects, and future projects. I played around with gradients, layers (in both physical form and digital form), illegible typefaces, blocked/hidden content, and large shapes.
