Project Title:
Fracture
Project Description:
This Project started with a wonderful collaboration with my clasmate Jason Dong and inspired me to individualize and turn it into a dynamic concept to be dexpanded.
“Fracture” here is a subject of manipulation and my attitude towards making it a publication in hands with such a collective concept. I collected responses on the word “Fracture” from random people at Multiple Formats Book Fair.
The prompt was open for any sort of interpretation. This publication is mainly featuring participants’ reponses to the word ‘Fracture’ and poster designs base on those reponses.
Life, akin to a grand surface but fragile, unfurls in a rich panorama of layers and textures, each strand intricately from the diversity of perception and experience. Departing from the simplicity of a singular reality, this metaphorical plain surface embodies the complexity of existence, wherein the reflection of human perspectives converges. Rather than adhering to a fixed, objective truth, this framework posits that reality is inherently multifaceted, molded by the intricate interplay of individual perceptions and lived realities. Fractures usually cause great disorders and they take us beyond the limits of reality.
